Kalypso Media/Kite Games is the owner of the licence now

After CDV went bankrupt, the licenses, including sublicenses, were sold off to many different companies. It wasn't until Kalypso released Sudden Strike 4 from Kite Games that Kalypso apparently also secured the licenses or sublicenses.

By any chance does Kalypso have this source code somewhere? If they realise that some community members are still willing to improve the games, especially SS1, SS2, SSRW & SS3, they might cooperate with us. We have talented modders and programmers but without the source code we are missing many opportunities

There have been various projects appearing here lately, but given the difficulty it will be a long time before anything playable appears.

I have a team of 3 and we are planning to make an add-on for vanilla Sust2, it's main purpose is fixing all possible to fix bugs, new campaigns, add missing units and sounds.
