Not so bad :) It's really hard get close to original graphics. Render posibilities in Blender: 1) Just press F12, it will render scene. Then you can click on this render window to "Image" and save it. blender_render.png 2) Or use Output properties/Output, but this is quite useless output.p...

There is probably no 2D game where it's solved somehow elegantly. Maybe RollerCoaster Tycoon have more complex system. Some time ago I tried to do a test scene for Blender with camera (32 directions), lights/shadows etc. Blender is now maybe best from all 3D editors but it have only physically based render (Cycles) and realtime render (EEVEE), while 3DSMAX have also scanline render. Gareth is right. Right now there is no point remove anything from beta3 and lose backward compatibility. It would be good in case of total mod remake, change/remove unused and ugly stuff (map objects, roads, bridges), make order in DESC/parameters, proper file names, unify everything. But no one wil...
