The Verdeja No. 1 and a T-26B parked together in May 1940.
Captain Félix Verdeja, General Luis Orgaz Yoldi and Generalisimo Franco discuss the intricacies of the former’s tank design.
- Bonus Images
-
Verdeja No. 1 specifications
Total weight : 6.8 Tons
Crew : 3 (commander/gunner, loader, driver)
Main Armament : 45/44 Mark I S.A. Plascencia
Secondary Armament Dreyse MG-13 (7.92mm)
Armor : 7-25 mm
Total production : 2 Prototypes
Maybe this Tank/SPG/SPAAG can be left out because it is a prototype
You can read about it here - https://tanks-encyclopedia.com/ww2/Spain/verdeja-no-1
I realised we could probably use the CA-16 Schneider armoured car
But we would have to check first, even if not for Spain for France

Re: Tanks of the Spanish civil war
The BT-7s first combat mission is written about here
BT-7s equipped the 2nd Mechanized Brigade that confronted the Imperial Japanese Army at Lake Hasan in 1938. They saw heavy action (around 400 BT-7s) later at Kalkhin Gol from May to August 1939, with the 6th and 11th Tank Brigades. Their second assignment was the invasion of Poland in September, and the Winter War with Finland from December to mid-1940. In 1939, each Soviet light tank brigade counted three tank companies, for a total of 17 BT-7s or T-26s and a reserve one (7 BT-7s).
More information about the Spanish BT-5s
The BT-5 entered service in 1933 and, with gradual deliveries until 1935, equipped all armoured cavalry brigades. The first active engagements came in Spain, in 1937, when a batch of 100 was shipped to the Republicans. They took part in the defense of Madrid. Some were captured later and saw service with the Nationalist Spanish state.
They were manned by the members International Brigades trained in USSR and by some Soviet tankists. Their first combat on 13 October 1937 during the Zaragoza Offensive was disastrous: 13 tanks were lost due to bad tactics. Later, 12 more were lost from December 1937 to February 1938 during the Battle of Teruel. A few captured BT-5s were also used by the Nationalist side
Apparently, then we should add a captured BT-5 to the nationalists probably a T-26 too.

Re: Tanks of the Spanish civil war
Already created a mission similar to that, called Tank Hunt. Also known as Nationalists mission IIApparently, then we should add a captured BT-5 to the nationalists probably a T-26 too.
The mission tasks are to capture the Republican T26. While doing so, clear the river bank, the village and the ammunition depot.
The idea is similar to the Camel Hunt mission from MWM III

Re: Spanish Civil War - Tanks
The French FT-17 made in 1917 became a very popular export due to it being the first production tank to have its armament within a fully rotating turret, it would even make its way Yugoslavia, China and South America, of course the Spanish themselves purchased some and used them in action against morocco during what would become known as the Rif war from 1921-25. Later down the line it saw much action In the Spanish civil war due to it being one of the only fighting vehicles available for purchase, many were in still in service by the standing army up until the civil war. Even though by 1936 it had became all but obsolete it was still relied upon as a tank mainly to train crews but also in order to combat infantry in the event of war, the tank itself was armed with either a M1914 Hotchkiss machinegun, however some forces swapped these for other machineguns like the maxim, and the other was the SA 37mm gun which was more than capable of destroying the armour of the T26s BT-5s and PZIIs that came later in the war. This tank was used by both the nationalist and republican side throughout the war, mainly because It was the only tank both armies had in reserve in 1936 and therefore saw a lot of action in the wars initial stages. Even after the Spanish civil war this underdog of a tank was still used notably by the Italians who used them during the 1940 invasion of Albania.
